The working principle of this machine is as follows: After the air is filtered and heated by the filter and heater, it enters the hot air distributor installed horizontally in the drying chamber. The hot air, after passing through the hot air distributor, enters the drying chamber evenly. Meanwhile, the feed liquid is delivered to the pressure spray gun by the feed pump. The feed liquid is atomized into fine droplets, greatly increasing the contact surface area between the feed liquid and hot air. Moisture evaporates rapidly, and the liquid is dried into powder in an extremely short time. The powder settles at the bottom of the dryer and is collected by means of scraper conveying and screw conveying. The finer powder enters the bag filter installed at the end of the drying chamber along with the exhaust gas for dust removal. The collected dust, together with the dried finished product, is collected by the screw conveyor, and the exhaust gas is discharged by the fan.
1. Drying speed is extremely fast: After the feed liquid is pressure-sprayed, its surface area is greatly increased. In the high-temperature airflow, 90–95% of the moisture can evaporate instantly, and the drying time is only a dozen to several dozen seconds.
2. Small floor space: Compared with vertical spray dryers, this model adopts horizontal air inlet and feed inlet. The equipment height is greatly reduced, and the dust removal device does not require a split design. It has a compact structure and reasonable layout, greatly reducing floor space, as well as plant investment and equipment load-bearing requirements.
3. Good product quality: The equipment has a simple structure and short drying time. Coarse and fine powders are collected together, meeting various quality indicators such as particle size distribution, product shape, product properties, color, aroma, taste, biological activity, and moisture content.

Compared with vertical dryers, this model eliminates the safety hazards of working at heights during fabrication, installation, cleaning, and maintenance.

In the food and dairy industry, it is commonly used for drying egg white, egg yolk, blood plasma, blood cells, protein powder, milk powder, soy milk powder, instant coffee, spices, and seasonings. In the chemical industry, it is suitable for drying products such as white carbon black, concrete admixtures, alumina, dyes, detergents, resins, and plastics. In the pharmaceutical industry, it can be used for processing materials such as powders for Chinese and Western medicines, antibiotics, vitamins, and enzyme preparations. In addition, it is also applied in the building materials field for ceramic blanks and glazes, as well as in environmental protection fields such as flue gas desulfurization and waste liquid treatment.
